The abundance of natural light flowing in through the large windows and the favorable orientation is fantastic! We also fell in love with the many authentic features, such as the high ceilings, original kitchen cabinet, herringbone parquet flooring, and decorative tiles. They create a wonderful combination with modern-day comfort.

We also really appreciate that this is a small-scale apartment building where all the neighbors are owners themselves. It’s both pleasant and financially advantageous. It’s surprising how much storage space there is here, with a laundry room, terrace cabinets, and the third room that we currently use as a dressing/office. Everything is close by, both on foot and by bike: Berchem with its lovely coffee bars and local hotspots, as well as the train station and major access roads.

Finally, spending time on the terraces is simply delightful, with open views and vibrant urban energy at the front, and a peaceful green outlook at the back.
